Meet Garry Zygax

Garry Zygax started Glendale Appliance Repair Now in 2014 with a straightforward idea: appliance repair shouldn’t cost a fortune or take a week to schedule. After spending over a decade working on high-end residential appliances across Southern California, Garry saw too many families paying inflated prices for simple fixes — or waiting days for a tech who never showed.

He opened shop on Colorado Street in Glendale with one van and a commitment to honest work. Word spread quickly. Within two years, the business had grown to a full team covering Glendale, Burbank, Pasadena, and most of the surrounding Foothills communities.

Today our team of six technicians handles everything from basic washer repairs to complex Sub-Zero and Thermador diagnostics. Every technician on the crew holds factory certifications and goes through ongoing training to keep up with the latest models. Garry still takes calls personally and runs diagnostics on the toughest jobs.

Our approach is simple: show up when we say we will, explain the problem honestly, and charge a fair price. We offer a flat $39 service call fee that gets waived with any completed repair. No hourly billing, no surprise charges, no pressure to replace an appliance that just needs a $50 part.
